SNARI Meeting Minutes January 28, 2020

Opening of meeting:
1.Minutes from January 13, 2020 reviewed and accepted
Ongoing Projects:
2.Convention
a.Theme discussed – Aspire to Inspire is the agreed upon theme.
b.Panel of speakers discussed – speakers from last year’s convention have agreed to return. Adeola Osunde, Amanda Brogna, Stephanie Costa and Lt. Col. Sherri Boucher. We are continuing to look for an educator, (?) Beth Bloom.
c.NCLEX review – Hurst will most likely be doing the review.
d.Resume writing / interview skills presentation discussed. The presenters will also have a table for individual student questions.
e.Vendors – Care New England, Kaplan and Bay Path University have committed to attending. Also, Alexanders Uniforms, Lifespan, Westerly Hospital, Southern NH University, River University and RIC. B. Bloom to follow up with those who have not responded.
f.Website – N. Thibeault was able to make changes needed.
g.Audio-visual needs – J. Jose has contacted and secured ATR Treehouse for the convention.
h.Lunch vouchers will be given to vendors and speakers.
i.T-shirts – discussion of whether SNARI wants to sell t-shirts this year. B. Bloom to see what we have left over from last year and bring to next meeting to discuss what sizes/colors we should order.
j.Treasurer – B. Bloom reported that SNARI has approximately $8000.00 dollars in the checking account to date. N. Thibeault reported that we have approximately $2000.00 dollars in the Pay Pal account.

a.Program reviewed – will continue at subsequent meetings
b.N. Thibeault working on new logo.

a.Tuesday February 11th and 25th at 5pm, CCRI, Warwick.
